Global Account Manager (Sales)

Direct sales role working to actively prospect, qualify and close net new business with enterprise customers while achieving or exceeding monthly revenue and profit goals.  Primary focus to market the full suite of services ranging from Cloud & Data Center to MPLS, SIP & Hosted VoIP that GCG offers from a large portfolio of suppliers.

Primary Responsibilities:

Actively market for new sales opportunities with enterprise business customers

Work with clients to understand their current and future technology needs

Fully understand and sell customers the value of working with GCG

Develop customer relationships at the executive level in order to gain strategic positioning with decision

Learn and be able to communicate clearly to customers the various technology solutions from the GCG portfolio of suppliers

Create sales plan with clearly defined strategies and tactics to win new business

Utilize SalesForce CRM to actively manage and track all sales activities and opportunity funnel

Close new business!!!

Job Qualifications:

Must be a critical thinker and problem solver with the ability to navigate and advance complex sales cycles involving detailed technology solutions

Comfortable working in both a team environment and independently as necessary

Time management skills to effectively organize sales activities so as to maximize time spent on developing and closing new business

Professional communication skills-verbally and written

Proven track record of successfully selling to enterprise type businesses

Establisted base of clients and relationships

Minimum of 5 years of business to buesiness sales experience

Proficiency with sales management tools and Microsoft suite of products including: Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point

Valid Driver's License
