Calling Cards

What is a calling card? Calling cards enable you to prepay for long distance (domestic and international) calls at a cheaper rate then a service provider would charge. There are many benefits of using calling cards- they are much cheaper than providers, local phone companies, collect calls and operator assisted calls. There are never monthly bills, and no detailed statements to deal with.

How do these cards work? Each card has an 800 number or a local access number (varies on location). It also has a "PIN" or account number. All that you need to do is dial the 800 number or the local access number, enters your "PIN" number, then enter the long distance number you are trying to reach. Using those few simple steps you can use a calling card from any phone, whether it be mobile or local. These are great for traveling long distance and contacting people at home, while at the hotel.
